These terms govern your use of thaiear.com, operated by ThaiEar ("we", "us"), a trading name of Toby Ralph, a sole trader. Our business address is 4th Floor, Silverstream House, 45 Fitzroy Street, Fitzrovia, London W1T 6EB. By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don't use the service.
ThaiEar provides Thai-language listening material (sentences and native-speed audio) for learning purposes. We may add, change or remove content at any time.
Some content requires you to sign in with Google. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Google account secure. You must be old enough to consent to use an online service in your country.
Premium is a recurring subscription billed monthly at the price shown at checkout (currently £5.55/month), processed by Stripe. It renews automatically each period until you cancel. We may change the price with reasonable notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
You can cancel anytime from your account; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Your access is for personal, non-commercial study. You must not download, copy, redistribute, publicly share, resell or scrape the audio or content, attempt to bypass access controls, or use the service unlawfully. Premium and member audio is licensed to you personally and may not be shared.
All content on ThaiEar (sentences, recordings, design) is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use it within the service; no other rights are granted.
ThaiEar's content is provided for general language-learning purposes only. While we take care in preparing it, we make no representations or warranties about the accuracy, completeness or reliability of any sentence, translation, audio recording or other information on the site, and we accept no responsibility for it. Language usage varies by region, register and context; our material is not a substitute for instruction from a qualified teacher or a professional translation. You rely on the content at your own discretion and risk, and we don't guarantee any particular learning result.
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the service for maintenance, technical or operational reasons, and we are not liable for any resulting unavailability.
The service relies on third parties — including Google (sign-in), Stripe (payments), and our hosting and audio providers. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, availability or content of these third parties, and your use of them may be subject to their own terms.
The service and all content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential, and including loss of data, profit, goodwill or opportunity — arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the service or its content.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any of your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post the revised version here with a new "last updated" date; material changes take effect from posting or, where required, with reasonable notice. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts. This does not remove consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force, and the invalid provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted by law.
