Travel & tourism: Mishaps & etiquette

Travel well and handle what goes wrong. This final part turns to being a good visitor — ขออนุญาต (asking permission) before a photo, เคารพธรรมเนียม (respecting customs) and อุดหนุนของท้องถิ่น (supporting local) — and to the things that go sideways: a เที่ยวบินดีเลย์ (delayed flight), a lost กระเป๋าเดินทาง (suitcase) or พาสปอร์ต (passport), and getting โก่งราคา (overcharged). It closes with the warm side of travel — ของฝาก (souvenirs), ทิป (tipping) and deciding a trip was คุ้มค่า (worth it). All 25 sentences are recorded by native speakers and come with English translations and word-by-word notes, so the language of travelling well lands by ear.
