Talk about working life and the Thai office in Thai. This second part covers colleagues and workplace culture: a เพื่อนร่วมงาน (coworker), being sent to an อบรม (training), and the social grain of a Thai workplace — เกรงใจ (consideration / not wanting to impose), going to ปรึกษา (consult) a senior first, and reading the วัฒนธรรมองค์กร (organisational culture). It runs through being praised (ชม) or told off (ตำหนิ), passing ทดลองงาน (probation), and the stability that makes งานราชการ (civil-service jobs) so prized. น่ารัก (lit. 'worthy of love') is used broadly for 'nice / sweet / lovely', not only 'cute'.

การ + a verb turns the action into a noun: ทำงาน 'to work' → การทำงาน 'working / work'.

In Thai workplaces, we tend to be deferential to the boss.

เกรงใจ is a core Thai social value with no neat English equal — a blend of deference, consideration, and reluctance to impose on or trouble others, especially seniors.

โดน marks an unwanted, adversative passive — 'I got [something bad] done to me' — the flip side of the praise line before it.
