เส้น is the classifier for long, thin things — here a charging cable, but also roads, rivers, noodles and strands of hair.

Two very colloquial framing devices: คือ opens an explanation ('the thing is…'), and ไง at the end flags the reason as something the listener really ought to have known.

You downloaded that news app I told you about, right?

These days you can just scan to pay — no need to carry cash.

Thailand is largely cashless: PromptPay QR payments are everywhere, from malls to street-food carts, so paying by scanning a code instead of carrying cash is completely routine.
