ทุน on its own = capital/funds; ทุน(การศึกษา) here = a scholarship. เขา (khǎo) is 'he' or 'she' — put พวก (phûak, 'group') in front to make it plural: พวกเขา (phûak khǎo) 'they'.

Thai has 44 consonants, and the vowels come in many forms too.

Thai has 44 consonant letters (a couple now obsolete) and writes vowels with marks set before, after, above or below the consonant — which is why a vowel can take หลายรูป (many forms).

การงานอาชีพ is a standard Thai school subject (often การงานอาชีพและเทคโนโลยี) covering hands-on life skills — cooking, gardening, woodwork, simple crafts — rather than one academic discipline.

Here เลย links cause to effect — 'the teacher is strict, so…'. That's a different job from the เลย that intensifies (สอบได้เต็มเลย, 'full marks, totally'); same word, two roles.
