Run errands and stock the bathroom in Thai. ต่างจังหวัด literally means 'a different province' — anywhere outside Bangkok. Sending post and parcels home to family ต่างจังหวัด is a routine part of city life.

แป้งเย็น is a menthol-cooled body powder dusted on after a shower or in the heat — a Thai staple (brands like Snake Brand / ตรางู) with no real Western equivalent.
